The pediatric division of our locally owned and high-caliber private practice is looking for a pediatric physical therapist who shares our values of dignity, compassion, empowerment, empathy, and nurture to help us expand our Early Intervention Team. The early intervention program focuses on meeting the physical therapy needs of children under the age of 3-years in their natural environment while supporting and empowering their families.

Job Description
Locations: depending on your availability, one or more of Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Valley Center, Fallbrook, San Diego, Chula Vista, National City
You should be able to:
- Provide direct physical therapy intervention and consultative services to young children (birth to 3 years) with developmental delays or with an established risk for a developmental disability
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary specialists including Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Infant Educators
- Assess, recommend, fit for orthotic devices and adaptive seating and mobility equipment (DME) as indicated
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for all client encounters as well as annual and semi-annual reports
Employment type: Full-time, part-time
Caseload- 3 days per week for part-time, 5 days per week for full-time
Qualifications
At least one year of experience working in a pediatric setting; early intervention is preferred. We will consider new graduates who have had a clinical rotation in early intervention. All mentoring will be provided by the director of our pediatric division: a residency-trained board-certified clinical specialist with 9+ years of experience.
Valid CA physical therapy license
Bilingual Spanish a plus (earns a per visit premium) in the following locations: Escondido, Vista, Oceanside, Fallbrook, Valley Center
